Hm, works fine here on 13.2.
What distribution are you using?

Does your audacious-lang have the same version as audacious?
There's an audacious-plugins-lang as well, do you have that installed? 
Although I don't think this would make a difference for the main window...

Does it work if you run it like this?
LANG=de_DE audacious
