[packman] too much updates

hi there

i am an user of opensuse 13.1, i have the packman repository (a must 
have i guess) and i noticed, in the last month, i great volume of 
updates, almost everyday, i get updates to k3b, vlc, xbmc, gstreamer.
it seems pretty abnormal to me, every day, 50-70 MB of updates.....are 
you kidding?
what is going on?
