[packman] xbmc-beta on openSUSE 11.2

Hello,
Package xbmc-beta does not seem to work. When I start it, it eats up
99-100% of CPU time, but shows nothing on screen. When I started
xbmc-standalone from the command line, it complained, that it can't find
'pulse-session', and then used 100% of CPU too. I tried it also on a
GNOME machine, which has pulse installed by default, but it still did
not work.
Any hints, how could I help debugging the problem?
