I can confirm that xxmc and xvmc work with libxine1-1.1.8-0.pm.1 and -xvmc.
Perhaps it should be mentioned somewhere that the path to the dynamic xvmc
library (for example /usr/X11R6/lib/libXvMCNVIDIA_dynamic.so.1) must be found in 
/usr/lib/X11/XvMCConfig.
