also bei mir läuft projectx unter SuSE 10.1x86,
daher mal meine Angaben zum Vergleich

Ich starte ProjektX über das K-Menue, der Eintrag wurde so durch das
Packman Paket angelegt
java -jar /usr/share/projectx/ProjectX.jar
Es lässt sich aber auch über /usr/bin/projectx.sh starten
