I needed the devel files to compile librhpi and this was needed to compile 
rivendell and soundpanel :)
And rivendell-packages were asked by a lot of users for SuSE. So we packaged 
it.

The package includes only the headers and libs and user-space-tools. The 
firmware is already in alsa-firmware.
And the kernel-module will follow for several architectures.

have a look at the src.rpms, there is a spec-file and the necessary patches to 
make it compile on a SuSE. We send normally our patches upstream.

ok, that's an important information. So we will withdraw the 64bit package for 
the moment. They were builded by our 64bit specialist Detlef.
