It has been in Essentials for years though, and I don't see how it can be considered "extra" anyway. The packman build of Mesa is arguably one of the main reasons why a openSUSE user wouvd want to enable the Packman repo in the first place, since openSUSE does not allow hardware decoding for h264/5, for example.
