In parallel I've branched openSUSE.org:hardware/crystalhd-libs to my
home project in PMBS and built it for openSUSE:Leap:15.3; using it then
allowed to successfully build MPlayer, too.

In case the openSUSE team doesn't want to include the crystalhd-libs
package with 15.3, there is at least the option to link
openSUSE.org:hardware/crystalhd-libs to Essentials and build-enable it
only for 15.3.
