The pianobar package is /seriously/ outdated. The source website has at least three and possibly four more recent releases than what's provided in the repos.

The current release is http://6xq.net/projects/pianobar/pianobar-2014.09.28.tar.bz2

Due to changes in Pandora's services, the version of pianobar in the repos is non-functional:
