Could you please include the 
/usr/share/thumbnailers/ffmpegthumbnailer.thumbnailer file, which is 
needed to make the thumbnailer work automatically with common file 
managers? You can get the file from this Arch package:
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/ffmpegthumbnailer/
