According to the Cinelerra 2014 Newsletter:
http://cinelerra.org/1/index.php/2014-05-19-23-59-02/newsletter
"We are working on updating a CentOS version of Cinelerra which we
previously released to a motion picture studio for their use in the
studio production process. We hope to have it completed this week and
released on-line."

I'm told their dev team are re-writing the config file, so let's wait
and see first what possibilites this might lead to.
