But again, Wolfgang has a valid point here. It is installed along the
Nvidia driver, and the nvidia-settings package collides with it. And
is seldom in sync with the the actual driver.

Yes, it is needed for build of certain packages, but as far as I can
see, there the version does not matter, so having _any_ nvidia-settings
in PM is OK, but we will set it to nopublish. So nobody will run in an
awkward situation with an outdated nvidia-settings.
