It works for many people, which is what it makes it bewildering. Thanks
for your list, I found some differences: I do not have
gstreamer-0_10-plugins-fluendo_mp3. Installing it triggers a conflict,
which is probably why I do not have it:

#### YaST2 conflicts list - generated 2013-02-04 03:34:19 ####

gstreamer-0_10-plugins-fluendo_mp3-0.10.18-3.1.x86_64 conflicts with gstreamer-0_10-fluendo-mp3 > 0.10.18 provided by gstreamer-0_10-fluendo-mp3-12-6.1.x86_64

     [ ] do not install gstreamer-0_10-plugins-fluendo_mp3-0.10.18-3.1.x86_64

     [ ] deinstallation of gstreamer-0_10-fluendo-mp3-12-6.1.x86_64

#### YaST2 conflicts list END ###

I selected option 2. I also found missing "gstreamer-0_10-plugins-qt",
"libQtGStreamer-0_10-0" added them. However,
"gstreamer-0_10-plugins-vaapi" is not available for 12.1, so I'lll ignore
it.

Nevertheless, after installing all those it doesn't work for me. For
example, Banshee when started from a terminal prints:

[Error 03:46:19.934] GStreamer resource error: NotFound
[Error 03:46:20.205] GStreamer resource error: NotFound

And "amarok --debug" print this:

cer at Telcontar:~> QWidget::setMinimumSize: (Playlist dock/Playlist::Dock)
Negative sizes (298,-1) are not possible
amarok: BEGIN: void EngineController::playPause()
amarok: [EngineController] PlayPause: EngineController state 0
amarok:   BEGIN: void EngineController::play()
amarok:     BEGIN: void Playlist::Actions::play()
amarok:       BEGIN: void Playlist::Actions::play(quint64, bool)
amarok: [WARNING] [Playlist::Actions] Invalid trackid 0
amarok: END__: void Playlist::Actions::play(quint64, bool) [Took: 0s]
amarok: END__: void Playlist::Actions::play() [Took: 0s]
amarok: END__: void EngineController::play() [Took: 0s]
amarok: END__: void EngineController::playPause() [Took: 0s]
QWidget::setMinimumSize: (Playlist dock/Playlist::Dock) Negative sizes (298,-1) are not possible
QWidget::setMinimumSize: (Playlist dock/Playlist::Dock) Negative sizes (298,-1) are not possible

Neither work with internet streams that work fine with audacious. Other
people report that it works for them, but it doesn't for me and nobody
knows why.

O well, I can live with audacious.
