That's why it would be great to adopt a new avidemux3 package similar to :

For sure aside Packman there's plenty of sources (OBS/PMBS) well maintained,
...but for years i've loved the way of just having to add Packman repo to get all the sofware I need. 

But times they are a-changing :)
