Just to report that when you install cinelerra in Opensuse 12.1 Yast 
complains with

    nothing provides libx264.so.119()(64bit) needed by
    cinelerra-2.2cv20111114-7.9.x86_64

         [ ] do not install cinelerra-2.2cv20111114-7.9.x86_64

         [ ] break cinelerra by ignoring some of its dependencies
