Dear Packmans,

looks, like the repo data of 12.1 is somewhat distorted. An attempt to install
ffmpag leads to:

Selecting 'ffmpeg-0.11.1-1.2.i586' from repository 'Packman repository
(openSUSE_12.1)' for installation.
Resolving package dependencies...
Force resolution: No

Problem: ffmpeg-0.11.1-1.2.i586 requires libavutil51 = 0.11.1, but this
requirement cannot be provided
  uninstallable providers: libavutil51-0.11.1-1.2.i586[packman]
Solution 1: Following actions will be done:
  deinstallation of libavcodec53-0.10.2-3.1.i586
  deinstallation of libavdevice53-0.10.2-3.1.i586
  deinstallation of libavformat53-0.10.2-3.1.i586
  downgrade of libquicktime0-1.2.4-66.4.i586 to libquicktime0-1.2.4-56.2.i586
  downgrade of libsox2-14.4.0-34.1.i586 to libsox2-14.4.0-30.2.i586
  deinstallation of mlt-0.7.8+0.7.9_78_g14c5abc-2.4.i586
Solution 2: do not install ffmpeg-0.11.1-1.2.i586
Solution 3: break ffmpeg-0.11.1-1.2.i586 by ignoring some of its dependencies

Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/3/c] (c):

because the libavutil51-0.11.1-1.2 is available in your repo.

Some createrepo headache perhaps? Since a lot of packages rely on this, many
packages aren't installable ATM.

Another issue results from an attempt to install ldvd:

Selecting 'ldvd-2.0.2-6.1.i586' from repository 'Packman repository
(openSUSE_12.1)' for installation.
Resolving package dependencies...
Force resolution: No

Problem: nothing provides mkisofs >= 1.15 needed by ldvd-2.0.2-6.1.i586
Solution 1: do not install ldvd-2.0.2-6.1.i586
Solution 2: break ldvd-2.0.2-6.1.i586 by ignoring some of its dependencies

Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/c] (c):

Cheers,
Pete
