This actually sounds like being caused by an outdated gnome-mplayer
version, where that DBUS interface (com.gnome.mplayer) doesn't exist.

I just upgraded gnome-mplayer in Packman to 1.0.0, could you please test
with that version ? (should be on the mirrors in 1 to 4 hours from now)

If that works, I'll update gecko-mediaplayer to have a hard
Requires: gnome-mplayer >= 1.0.0
