libffmpeg-devel will not install under Yast in 11.2.  It can't fulfill
its dependency on libdirac0.  Both the 11.2 distro and
Packman versions of libdirac are 1.02 and both provide libraries
libdirac_encoder0 and libdirac_decoder0 and no
library libdirac0. 

There is also the problem of many applications (k3b-codecs for example)
of not being able to install against the
ffmpeg libavcodec package due to unfulfilled dependencies on:
libavcodec.so.52(LIBAVCODEC_52)
