Please file a bug upstream, but as the last update of MuSE is from 27.December 
2005, I don't know if you'll receive any answer.

The build hasn't change since the first release, except two small changes to 
compile it with gcc-4.3/gcc-4.4 and those changes fix only some missing 
includes. So no functionality is afected by my patches.

Perhaps it is time to remove the package for the newer SuSE-releases.
