To be sure I just ask the maintainer of the fedora package (David Halik)

Answer from David:
"They patch gstreamer, taglib, and xulrunner heavily, which is why the 
dev's provide the vendor ball. I've been through this a couple of times 
with them and it's not recommended to use standard versions of either three."

So it seems we are lost for the moment ...
