Hi,
I think I've found the problem. There is an option 'Stop playback locks
up' under Settings - Preferences - Audio out. When I set that option,
the problem is gone.
Thanks,
Egbert

I've installed your package (see subject) on the following machine:
CPU: AMD 4850E
RAM: 4GB
OS: Linux 2.6.27.7-9-default x86_64
System: openSUSE 11.1 (x86_64)
KDE: 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 82.2"
When I load a clip into the Viewer, press the Play button and then Stop
playback, the Viewer becomes unresponsive. The same happens when I play
a clip in the Compositor window.

I've now installed the new package:
cinelerra-2.1.cv20090106-0.pm.2.i586.rpm
and also tried:
cinelerra-2.1.cv20090106-0.pm.2.x86_64.rpm
but I still have the same problem. Perhaps useful to know is that I have
the following display driver:
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics
Driver: 2.1.8304 Release
Do you have any idea how I can get this to work? I've already tried to
run Cinelerra under other window managers, but that doesn't change anything.
Best Regards,
Egbert
