I only writing to thank you for packing up "bitflu" rpms.  It is probably
the application I use most on my PC (besides firefox).  I have a suggestion,
though.  Sometimes when I call "bitflu" from console, it shuts down when I
log out of X, or sometimes just closing the console (if I do not background
it, or daemonise it)

With respect to the file at /usr/bin/bitflu, would it be possible to prepend
the command "nohup" just before "./bitflu.pl" and add --daemon after
"./bitflu.pl?" So that it reads

nohup ./bitflu.pl --daemon > /dev/null 2>&1

I usually edit the file myself, but it might benefit others that are
struggling with similar issues (maybe I"m the only one ............. in that
case I don't see the above suggestions causing any harm) and also saves me
having to edit the same file each time i upgrade.
