Sorry, which update fixed the problems? vlc-0.8.6e package didn't play 
even mpeg2 which is not decodec by ffmpeg, now it seems to work, what's 
tchanged there?
Now it looks ffmpeg is not used what worked fine with 0.8.6d with the 
same ffmpeg version. I'll take a look on it on saturday, maybe I can 
find the reason.
