There exists a libxine1-arts package, there is any cause to no make a
libxine1-esd one?
>From a KDE user POV is better since he has no need to install EsounD
or PulseAudio. But with openSUSE 11.0 it also could "force" KDE users
to use PulseAudio for everything (
http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2008-06/msg00619.html ).
I'm not sure about the last part, expect a confirmation in
opensuse-factory. But even if it's not the case, the split would make
sense because of the first point.
