There's no special configure option for xvmc used, it's autoconfigured, 
here from the 10.2 i686 build:

./configure --build=i686-suse-linux --prefix=/usr --exec-prefix=/usr
--bindir=/usr/bin --sbindir=/usr/sbin --sysconfdir=/etc
--datadir=/usr/share --includedir=/usr/include --libdir=/usr/lib
