Marcus, --

Many thanks to Manfred and you for responces.

I can survive not reading M$-derived sites with elinks :)
though can't recall about crashes.
Gmail is looking perfect in 128-wide elinks and
helps to keep my eyes healthy.

I can't tell for sure whether I've tested your rpm or not,
just for some reason I build it from tarball recent time.
Here is configure line I've used:

CPPFLAGS=-I/usr/include/js ./configure --enable-256-colors
--enable-bittorrent --enable-nntp --enable-fsp --enable-gopher

Could you upgrade *.rpm?
Let me know how I could help, if any thing...

knob:~ # rpmbuild --rebuild ~w/Desktop/elinks-0.11.3-8.4.src.rpm
Installing /opt/home/w/Desktop/elinks-0.11.3-8.4.src.rpm
error: Failed build dependencies:
        js-devel is needed by elinks-0.11.3-8.4.i586
knob:~ # rpm -q js-devel
package js-devel is not installed
knob:~ # rpm -q libjs-devel
knob:~ #

Best regards,
