I did what you said, installed faac with Zen.
After that the Zen updater asked whether ffmpeg should be installed, and as I said OK, he was happy with everything.
I think we have two problems here:
1. Zen can't properly handle dependencies.
2. The dependencies are falsely written in these packages.
I'm not sure, though :)
