Correct. The nice thing about Gizmo is that they use standards like SIP
and are compatible with Asterisk, for example, but it's closed-source
freeware.

Adrian, there are "SUSE Linux 10.0+" RPMs on the Gizmo download page:

Indeed. But.. well... "offering"... we're not selling anything ;)

We do have Ekiga:
http://packman-test.links2linux.org/package/ekiga

OSS alternatives to Ekiga are Twinkle and KPhone. You know any others ?

Again, they also have an RPM:
http://download.wengo.com/wengophone/beta/WengoPhone-2.0-beta1-linux-bin-x86.tar.bz2
(I guess the RPM is inside the tarball, at least they advertise it's an
RPM ;))

Wengo is open-source, they just don't make it very easy to get the
sources from the download page.

One can grab the sources from their SVN repository:
http://dev.openwengo.com/trac/openwengo/trac.cgi/browser/wengophone-ng/trunk

Wengophone is GPL:

AFAICS only Gizmo falls out, because it's not opensource. The others are.

Richard Bos (rbos) already has some RPMs of twinkle:
http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/SuSE/10.1-i386/RPMS.suser-rbos/
(only has 0.7, latest is 0.7.1)

cheers
