No, but there is no need to set audio device, I prefer it on automatic, 
and it plays fine.

Notice that the program plays the sound perfectly, as far as I can see (or 
hear). The problem is that it crashes at the end of the run, and this 
causes an entry in syslog and an email from cron, which is a nuisance. I 
can not keep the program "silent" when it crashes.

What matters to me is the unclean exit, not the sound. The program does 
its job fine. What bothers me is the stderr output that I can not silence.

But a segfault is a bug, that's what I'm reporting.


If you want, I'll call it with strace and try to capture the output file.
