Nevertheless there are things, that work better with 2.5. I'm using both 
depending on the what I'm doing. 2.6 is the version for time based work, but 
2.5 the version for frame based work. And e.g. partial filters still not work 
at 2.6. AFAIK development of 2.5 hasn't been replaced by development for 2.6. 
So it may be better to add a avidemux3 package. Please do not replace avidemux 
2.5 by 2.6!
