looks that IS AN UPSTREAM BUG THEY ALREADY KNOW!

the only patch that may do something wrong is the
"no-return-in-non-void-function" that probably showed better this bug.

i'm trying to build it without the patches to see if the crasch
disappear, but, add

#include <string.h>

or

typedef unsigned char uchar;

i don't think is a problem, specially when without it, the compilation
fail with "error: undefined type uchar"


i want to fix this because is a package that i often use and that i
like, if you know how to fix it, please, feel free to submit a chage
request and that one will be accepted and committed
