the problem looks to be the package:
gstreamer-0_10-plugins-good-0.10.14-42.pm.1

and to be more precise the library

 /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstcacasink.so

hi tony, gstreamer break cheese on suse 11.1

let me explain better.

hardware--> acer aspire one, webcam Acer Crystal Eye

that one, even if use uvcvideo drivers, works out of the box on suse
11.1 with both, cheese and luvcview,

after upgrading gstream from packman, cheese is no more working, i know
the problem is gstreamer because on bugzilla they always refer to it,
and downgrading it to OSS version, it come back to works again.
