I simply did this for the time being with my specfiles (see attachment
- it's the 420, but 418 is just changing numbers).
Since fmod does not use pkg-config or a standalone script à la
"PACKAGENAME-config", it may be necessary to patch some projects
depending on fmod to allow specifying extra flags :-/
Well, the specific package I need it for actually uses cmake, which,
as I just learned, needs just
cmake . -DFMOD_INCLUDE_DIR=/opt/libfmodex418/include \
-DFMOD_LIBRARY=/opt/libfmodex418/lib64/libfmodex64.so.418
And I think that fares very well.
