Hi,

sorry, not my usual behavior to when it comes to bugreports but workload
is really pressing these days.

As for a more precise description of the problem: while for example:
Totem (gstreamer version) will report a missing MPEG-4 codec, missing
AC3 codec etc. although all relevant Packman-Gstreamer packages are
installed.

rpm -qa | grep gstreame
gstreamer-0_10-plugins-good-0.10.8-42.pm.1
gstreamer-0_10-0.10.19-15
gstreamer-0_10-plugins-ugly-0.10.8-42.pm.1
gstreamer-0_10-plugins-base-0.10.19-42.pm.1
gstreamer-0_10-32bit-0.10.19-15
gstreamer-0_10-plugins-base-32bit-0.10.19-23
banshee-1-backend-engine-gstreamer-1.0.0-3.3
gstreamer-0_10-plugins-ugly-lang-0.10.8-42.pm.1
gstreamer-0_10-plugins-bad-lang-0.10.7-42.pm.1
libgstreamer-0_10-0-0.10.19-15
libgstreamer-0_10-0.10.19-42.pm.1
gstreamer-0_10-plugins-bad-0.10.7-42.pm.1
gstreamer-0_10-pulse-0.9.5-53

I did a clean install of openSUSE 11.0 RC1 before updating to your
Gstreamer packages. And no, updating the Gstreamer core library to your
version didn't help, either. Note that I haven't updated to your
pulseaudio package because it completely b0rked all audio (no sound at
all). But I don't feel like going into that too; I simply want MPEG-4
decoding, no less no more.

Greets,
Chris
