This seems to be a problem in dvd-slideshow after all. I added "-S
420mpeg2" to all calls for ppmtoy4m in the script and now it works.

Hi.
I do not speak German but I think I was told to examplify my problem
through this email address. So here goes:
I am trying to run the dvd-slideshow script and it seems like mpeg2enc
(version 1.7.0 SuSE 9.3 i686) has a problem with it. I'm not 100% sure
that this is not a bug in dvd-slideshow, but I googled a whole lot and
didn't find anything on the matter so I don't think it is (I wouldn't
bother you otherwise).

I have extracted the code from dvd-slideshow that does not work into 2 lines:

Hi Rolf,

schreib doch mal an packman at links2linux.de und konkretetisiere deine
Vermutung mit mjpegtools.
Ich kenne das PRoblem nicht.

Gruß
Rainer
